As someone here said, alter-egos can be useful. But there may be times to let them go, or at least part of them. I read your journal, and I can tell that you are hurt, upset, angry with yourself. Times like these do make us question almost everything we do and have done. Sometimes we can learn and grow stronger, better, because of them. You are no longer hiding behind the mask as you called it. In a way, I envy you that freedom. But I am sorry for the pain that caused you to come out of hiding. I do hope that you can continue your artistic journey in whatever way is best for you.
